What’s Easter Weekend without an Easter Egg Hunt? For those of you that don’t fancy hiding eggs around your own house, there are plenty of organised activities running over the Easter Weekend, and we’ve included 10 of the best below. Happy Easter!
Priory Farm – Fun for the younger members of the family in the Little Bunnies Easter Egg Hunt. Suitable for Under 6s.
Friday 30th March – Sunday 1st April 2018, 11.00am-3.00pm
Tilgate Bakery Easter Eggstravaganza – Join Tilgate Bakery for their 6th annual Mad Hatter Easter Event, including a free Easter hunt, free colouring competition with prizes up for grabs, face painting (from £2.50) and Easter biscuit decorating (£1)

Wakehurst – work your way through the gardens collecting symbols along the way that you can decode back at the Millennium Seed Bank. Then uncover a mystery recipe to be rewarded with a delicious milk chocolate Divine egg. After you’ve completed the trail, why not join in our Peter Rabbit adventures. £4 per participant. Normal garden admission prices apply.

Borde Hill Garden – Bertram Bunny’s Easter Adventure – Follow the puzzle trail around the garden to work out Bertram’s secret password and receive a chocolate egg reward (£2 per child, plus normal garden admission). Children can also claim a FREE craft bag containing all the materials needed to make an Easter-themed masterpiece. Other activities on selected days include Meet the Easter Bunny, Storytelling, Face painting and balloon modelling.

Jungle Tots – Dress up as your favourite Nursery Rhyme character and come and join in the Jungle Tots Easter Egg Hunt around Worth Park Gardens, as well as taking part in some Easter-themed crafts, a Treasure Hunt, face painting , or sample some delicious tea and cakes. £2.50 per child.

Peppa’s Easter Egg Hunt – Mini Mayhem – You’re all invited to join Peppa Pig in her egg hunt. Best of all, you get to meet and greet with Peppa Pig. Suitable for ages 1-10. £9.85 per child (includes entry for 1 adult)

Buchan Country Park – A brand new hunt trail will take you around the main park (£3 per person), as well as an easier trail for younger children in the wild garden (£2 per child). Also on offer will be hot and cold refreshments, arts and crafts activities, Sand Art, face painting, and a tombola.

Goff’s Park Easter Egg Hunt – Friends of Goffs Park are organising a fun Easter Egg hunt where children can search for eggs around the park, in exchange for a prize. Other activities will be available, including arts and crafts for all ages and a lucky dip. Refreshments and hot cross buns available to purchase.

Denbies Vineyard Trail Chocolate Trail – an Easter trail with a difference. Includes a glass of sparkling wine for the adults and chocolate bunny ‘hide and seek’ treat for the children. £25 per family (2 adults/3 children). Booking required.
